Tirupati Balaji Temple is more famous among the major religious places of the country and South India. Venkateshwara Temple is a historical temple located on the hill of Tirumala in Tirupati in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, India. The beauty of South India can also be seen on the beaches, natural scenes and temples built here. Every temple here is the centre of attraction, but people have more faith in this temple which is famous in India as Tirupati Balaji, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.


Every day 50 thousand to 1 lakh devotees reach the temple to visit Venkateswara, while on special occasions the number of pilgrims increases to 5 lakh. Tirupati Balaji temple is also called Bhuloka Vaikuntham, which means Vishnu’s abode on earth
According to Hindu beliefs, Lord Vishnu appeared on earth to save the life of human beings due to the difficulties faced in the ancient era. By the way, this temple has a tradition of donating hair, which is called “Mokku”. The people here earn virtue by donating their hair to Lord Venkateswara before visiting the temple. , This temple is full of natural beauty being nestled in the lap of nature.


Tirupati Balaji temple is widely recognized among the people following Hinduism. The glory of this temple is immense. It is said that visiting the  Tirupati temple once in life makes life successful. It is also known as the “Temple of the Seven Hills”, having seven peaks on the hill of this temple, built at 853 feet elevation from the Sumradi floor. It is the richest temple in the country in terms of charity for religion. Every year millions of rupees are donated to this temple.


The construction of Tirupati Balaji  TEMPLE is said to have begun in 300 AD. Then many emperors and kings played an important role in its construction from time to time. But in the 18th century, Maratha general Raghoji Bhonsle did a permanent management review to see the arrangement of the temple, named Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. It was developed in 1933 through the TTAI Act.





The temple is said to be open 24 hours a day. The temple is open from 2:30 AM in the morning to 1:30 AM the next day. How long the free Darshan in Tirupati, called Sarvadarshanam would take, cannot be estimated. Because, if the temple is not crowded, then darshan takes place in 3 to 4 hours, but if there is a long line for darshan, then you may have to stand in line for at least 18 hours. For VIP Darshan, you have to register online by paying Rs 300, without this you cannot do VIP Darshan. In VIP Darshan you can have darshan of Tirupati in 2 to 3 hours.

Laddu At Tirupati Balaji



The laddus found in Tirupati in the form of naivedyam is very tasty. This laddu is specially prepared in the kitchen named “Potu” by Tirumali Tirupati Devasthanam. The weight of this laddu is 175 grams. Tirupati laddu gets GI tag, which means that only Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam can make and sell such laddu.


According to data, in Devasthanam here, one and a half lakh ladoos are prepared every day. The material used to make Laddu is called “Dittam”. In view of the increasing demand of laddus, changes have been made in its content,  Dittam only six times in history.
